Professional Disclosure
While I have advanced education, training, and prior clinical experience in conventional medical and osteopathic settings, I do not practice as a medical physician, osteopathic physician, or primary care provider. The services I offer are non-medical in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure disease.
My current practice is provided within the scope of massage and bodywork and is best understood as a holistic, hands-on approach focused on supporting the body’s inherent capacity for self-regulation, balance, and comfort. This work is commonly categorized within massage therapy and natural or complementary care and is offered as a supportive, non-medical service.
Sessions involve gentle, non-forceful touch, which may include contact with areas such as the head, neck, face, back, chest wall, abdomen, pelvis, and sacrum. No forceful manipulation, joint “cracking,” or thrusting techniques are used. Clients are encouraged to indicate on the intake form, or at any time, any areas of the body they prefer not be touched due to physical or emotional sensitivity.
Brief session notes may be kept at my discretion for personal reference and continuity of care. These notes are not medical records and are not intended for use by other healthcare providers, insurance companies, or third parties.
This work is offered as a supportive and integrative practice and is not a substitute for medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients are encouraged to maintain appropriate relationships with licensed medical providers for their healthcare needs.
