After several decades of practice in anesthesiology and pain medicine--with the later years devoted primarily to cancer pain management, hospice, and end-of-life care--I felt a growing call to return to my roots in osteopathic philosophy and natural medicine through a quieter, exclusively hands-on form of care.

My work is informed by traditional osteopathic principles and the biodynamic tradition and is practiced within the scope of massage and bodywork as a specialized approach within craniosacral therapy.  This is a gentle, non-forceful work that emphasizes listening, presence, and support of the body's inherent capacity for self-regulation, particularly in states of illness, trauma, or advanced disease.

I am a South Carolina licensed massage therapist and hold national certification in therapeutic massage and bodywork. Earlier in my career, I practiced as a clinician in anesthesiology and pain medicine, with extensive experience in oncology, palliative care, and hospice settings. These experiences continue to shape my sensitivity to suffering, my respect for limits, and my commitment to care that prioritizes comfort, dignity, and peace.

In addition to my clinical background, I am an Orthodox priest.  My spiritual vocation naturally informs my presence and approach, particularly when accompanying individuals and families during times of profound transition.  For me, this work reflects a deeply integrated view of the human person--body, soul, and spirit--and is especially well suited for those receiving palliative, hospice, or end-of-life care.
